  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • Your favorite pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, onions)

Optional Toppings:

  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Chopped bell peppers
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Sliced black olives
  • Chopped onions
  • Cooked sausage

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Grate zucchini and place in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  • In a large bowl, combine zucchini, eggs, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Press the zucchini mixture into a greased baking dish to form a crust.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the baked zucchini crust.
  • Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese and add your favorite toppings.
  • Return to oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
