Strawberry Kiss Cookies are soft, buttery cookies infused with strawberry flavor and topped with a chocolate kiss, making them a delightful dessert for any occasion!

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp strawberry gelatin powder
  • 30-35 chocolate kisses (unwrapped)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
  • Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and strawberry gelatin powder until fully combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but cookies remain soft.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
