  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Hamburger buns

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain excess fat.
  • Transfer beef mixture to a slow cooker.
  • Add tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Serve the mixture on hamburger buns.
