Impress your loved one with this Marry Me Shrimp Pasta recipe! Juicy shrimp, creamy sauce, and tender pasta combine for an irresistible dish perfect for date nights or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Add cooked pasta and mix until well coated. Use reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
  • Substitute chicken or scallops if you don’t have shrimp.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing the red pepper flakes.
