    • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
    • ¼ cup melted butter
  • Cheesecake Filling:
    • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • ½ cup sour cream
    • ½ cup melted dark chocolate
  • Cherry Topping:
    • 1 cup cherry pie filling
    • ½ cup fresh cherries (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla, sour cream, and melted chocolate.
  • Pour filling over the crust and bake for 45–50 minutes until the center is set.
  • Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Top with cherry pie filling and fresh cherries before serving.
