This cheesy chicken pasta recipe combines tender chicken, pasta, and a rich, creamy cheese sauce for a comforting meal. Perfect for family dinners, this quick and easy dish is a flavorful, satisfying option for busy weeknights.

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken cubes and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the cheese sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

  • You can use any pasta type you prefer.
  • Feel free to substitute chicken breast with thighs for a juicier texture.
  • For added heat, sprinkle in red pepper flakes.
