12 oz beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch ginger, grated
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef slices for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.
Add the remaining oil, then sauté garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked noodles and toss until well coated.
