This beef stir fry with noodles and sticky sauce is a flavorful, easy-to-make dish perfect for busy weeknights. Tender beef, crisp veggies, and chewy noodles are coated in a rich, savory-sweet sauce for a satisfying meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced

  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Set aside.

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef slices for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.

  • Add the remaining oil, then sauté garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.

  • Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Add the cooked noodles and toss until well coated.

 

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.

  • Use fresh or frozen vegetables based on availability.

  • Adjust the spice level with red pepper flakes or chili sauce.

 

  • Swap beef with chicken or tofu for variation.
